STEP 1:
COMPLETE SEWING MACHINE TRAINING
To access the sewing machines, residents must complete Sewing Machine Training. Once you feel confident in your knowledge, you can take the Sewing Machine quiz and request certification.

STEP 2:
PASS THE SEWING MACHINE QUIZ
Our Sewing Machine Quiz is a ten-question test that measures your understanding of the training material. You'll need to get 100% to become certified, but don't worry if you don't pass on your first try. You can take the quiz as many times as you need to, and you'll have an opportunity to see the correct answers for any questions you missed. We want to make sure that you have a solid understanding and can operate the equipment safely and effectively. STEP 3:
REQUEST CERTIFICATION
To request certification, residents must have completed Maker Space 101 training, signed the release form, completed the training videos, and passed the 3D printing quiz. If you meet these requirements, you can submit a request for certification using the form below. Once we receive your request, we'll review your quiz results and get back to you within 24-48 hours. If you're approved for certification, you'll be able to access the Sewing Machine during open hours.
